Flex4Grid
Flex4Grid aims at creating an open data and service framework that enables a novel concept of prosumer flexibility management, i.e. managing flexibility of prosumer demand and generation for the benefit for all key stakeholders: Cloud service providers will be able to offer new services to Distribution System Operators (DSOs) and prosumers; DSOs benefit from external services, peak load reduction and generation‐demand gap reduction; prosumers benefit by becoming an active market player for both, demand and generation; new market players will be able to offer services based on the third party data interface.
FLEXGRID
FLEXGRID will develop advanced mathematical models and algorithms for network-aware market clearing (i.e. clear the market taking into consideration dynamic grid constraints) and market-aware network management (i.e. exploiting available flexibility from energy service providers and aggregators to deal with grid problems such as frequency/voltage control and local congestion management).
FLEXICIENCY
The project aims to demonstrate that the deployment of novel services in the electricity retail markets, such as advanced monitoring, local energy control and flexibility, can be accelerated thanks to an open European marketplace for standardised interactions among electricity stakeholders within and across borders. This will open up the energy market to new players at EU level.
FlexiGrid (864048)
The project demonstrates cutting-edge technologies and innovative flexible markets enabled by advanced cross-platforms for local energy exchanges and providing flexibility to distribution system operators in order to ensure secure, stable and affordable operations of electrical distribution grids for decarbonising energy systems with high shares of renewables.
FLEXIGRID (864579)
FLEXIGRID improves the distribution grid operation making it more flexible, reliable and cost-efficient through the development of 8 solutions interoperable with the IT systems used by the energy stakeholders. The main goal of FLEXIGRID is to allow the distribution grid to operate in a secure and stable manner when a large share of variable generation electricity sources is connected to low and medium voltage grids.
FLEXITRAN-STORE
FLEXITRANSTORE aims to contribute to the evolution towards a pan-European transmission network with high flexibility and high interconnection levels. This will facilitate the transformation of the current energy production mix by hosting an increasing share of renewable energy sources. Novel smart grid technologies, control and storage methods, and new market approaches will be developed, installed, demonstrated, and tested introducing flexibility to the European power system.
