First results on Energy Communities, Cybersecurity and TSO-DSO Cooperation will be presented during Task Force and Working Group meetings

Monday. 23 September 2019

Many events are organized in the second semester of 2019 for BRIDGE, and this will be the occasion to highlight the results of the different tasks started after the last General Assembly in March.

First event will concern the Task Force Energy Communities, led by Leen Peeters and Ludwig Karg. Members of the Task Force will reunite in Brussels at the European Commission to discuss about the survey circulated among BRIDGE projects. These discussions will direct the analysis presented in the next BRIDGE Energy Communities report. Next day, the Task Force leaders will present their first recommendation in a CEER training on Energy Communities and New Actors in the Energy Sector.

In October, the Working Group Regulation, led by Helena Gerard and Gregory Jarry, and the Working Group Data Management, led by Olivier Genest, will reunite at the European Commission to present their first results on the topics raised by the Commission: Cybersecurity and TSO-DSO cooperation. On the first day, the session will be dedicated to the presentation of the first results of the two topics, exclusively between members of the Working Groups and project officers. The second day, a workshop on Flexibility Markets of the Future and TSO-DSO cooperation, jointly organized by the European Commission, ENTSOe, EDSO, Smart Energy Systems ERA-Net, will be the occasion for the chairs of the working groups to present their results to extended projects and other participants.
