MERLON is a Horizon-2020 founded project that introduces an innovative integrated modular Local Energy Management Framework to operate local energy systems under high shares of volatile distributed Renewable Energy Sources (RES).
MERLON aims at sharing new business models, allowing local energy communities to introduce themselves in local flexibility markets, while assigning to local Distribution System Operators the tools for the provision of added value services to the overlay distribution grid.
During this webinar latest innovation will be shared as the EU energy landscape is undergoing a transformation towards decarbonization, the decentralisation of electricity generation and the integration of RES, stressing the need for more affordable and secure solutions.
